Niagara-on-the-Lake is hosting two full days of activities for the Peach Festival this year.
Saturday August 9, 2014
11 am to 4:30 pm — Old Town Queen Street between King and Victoria Streets will be closed to vehicules as we celebrate the peach harvest with live music, historic displays, entertainment, fun and lots of locally grown wonderful Niagara peaches. Free admission for all.
5 pm – 10 pm — Queen Street turns into a Night Market, with local merchants showcasing products from tents.
Enjoy live music , wonderful food samples, from various kitchens including Peller Estate Winery Restaurant, accompanied with wines from local wineries including Reif Estate Winery, Inniskillin, Peller and Trius and local beer.
Sunday August 10, 2014
10 am to 3:30 pm — St Vincent de Paul Church hosts the Peach Festival on Picton Street. Great fun for the whole family:
Kid’s corner with face painting, balloon animals, reptiles, a clown and crafts
Hamburgers and hot dogs by Pig Out
Handmade Jewelry table
Awesome bake table
Numerous peach items available, including but not limited to, peach punch, peach crepes, peach jam, peach pies, and peach sundaes
10 am to 5 pm — Shops of Niagara-on-the-Lake present their unique merchandise from tents on Queen Street, between Victoria and Regent Streets.
